Editor’s Note: This review was originally published during my adolescence. Outdated language might be seen in these old posts. Since then, my thoughts and values have grown. This review is being presented as they were originally written, grammatical errors, shitty sentence structure, and typos galore. Because to do otherwise would be that same as claiming these flaws never existed.

BACKSTORY: Wednesday  August 12th I go to another screening of Straight Outta Compton only to bring this guy in. Not wanting to watch the movie again, I walk upstairs to see what else is playing. I saw Dragonball Z Resurrection F 7:40 show. I haven't touched Dragonball Z after watching the Majin Buu saga years ago. I had no knowledge of the new characters introduced in Battle of Gods cause I never watched it. But I did know one of the greatest (and cockiest) villains Frieza is reborn from the trailer and I remember myself squealing like a little girl watching it. Looking back twice, I stepped into the crowded theater took a seat and had a hell of a time. Even people walked in sitting on the stairs to watch it

STORYLINE: One peaceful day on Earth, two remnants of Frieza's army named Sorbet and Tagoma arrive searching for the Dragon Balls with the aim of reviving Frieza. They succeed, and Frieza subsequently seeks revenge on the Saiyans.

REVIEW: Dragonball Z is a franchise that you either love or hate. It's continuous ongoing stories and adventures with Goku and his friends are entertaining to watch, but the fact that you're resurrecting Frieza is a big deal that needs to be seen only on the big screen. Resurrection F is a thrilling rollercoaster ride of humor and violence that surpasses the length of a normal Dragonball episode. The animation in this film is a perfect mixture between traditional 2D and 3D animation. It's beautiful seeing the 2D characters fighting in a 3D landscape. The film is quickly paced with nonstop action nearly every second. These nonstop sequences are cool, but there are times where the violence gets repetitive that it becomes nearly borderline boring, but the film does a lot of twists and turns that surprises. There are times where the film gets dark like fatally fucked up to even watch so you are pumped to see Vegeta and Goku kick Frieza's ass

LAST STATEMENT: Action Packed, funny, and entertaining as hell, Dragonball Z Resurrection F isn't only a fans only film, but is also a theatrical crowd pleaser to young beginners getting into the franchise
