Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Review
It is Rowling’s world and nobody could write stories like her other than herself. She knows how to grasp the audiences’ attention and keep a story movie with all the elements of action, danger, whimsy, and cleverness between likable characters.
Rules Don't Apply Review
The majority of the random actions Howard Hughes does are on the cartoonish hijinks of Scrooge McDuck with a mixture of Mr. Magoo which leads to a numerous amount of comedic sequences and cutaways that were of true events.
Arrival Review
Arrival provokes the Sci-Fi normal blockbuster genre by having a great intellectual screenplay, brilliant cinematography, heart, and another great direction from Denis Villeneuve.
Moana Review
Since Frozen, Disney used individuality to bring out character traits in their female leads which are strengthened even further with this new princess. Moana is the strongest female character Disney has created to have a film named after since Mulan.
Shut In Review
Every time the film wants to get you scared it relies on the lowest common dominator ; blares.
Doctor Strange Review
There are sequences where the physics of action resemble antics seen in Looney Tunes cartoons where it just gets both psychedelic and trippy. Don’t get high or take any hallucinogenic drugs when you see this. You will have a panic attack. And if you do, good luck.
Nocturnal Animals Review
Nothing prepared me for what I was to see and what I saw was one of the most disturbingly gripping cinematic masterpieces I’ve ever seen in my entire life.
Loving Review
Recently there has been a good amount of film with a similar theme of social injustice. From The Birth of a Nation to even Zootopia these films brought out strong messages of discrimination and racism people face in communities today. But none of these films are as powerful as Jeff Nichols’ Loving.
Bleed For This Review
If you ever wanted to see Miles Teller as a boxer with a Rhode Island accent, then this is the film for you.
Lion Review
The film features a largely known cast who has been in other Award nominated films, but the film truly held by Sunny Pawer who plays Young Saroo. For the first hour, this is HIS movie. It is Patel, Mara, and Kidman that the film markets but Pawar’s performance is truly outstanding.
