Editor’s Note: This review was originally published during my adolescence. Outdated language might be seen in these old posts. Since then, my thoughts and values have grown. This review is being presented as they were originally written, grammatical errors, shitty sentence structure, and typos galore. Because to do otherwise would be that same as claiming these flaws never existed.

BACKSTORY: N/A

STORYLINE:Newlywed couple Ted and Tami Lynn want to have a baby, but in order to qualify to be a parent, Ted will have to prove he's a person in a court of law.

REVIEW: So this is Seth MacFarlene's 1st sequel. For a third movie he might need to fix his rep because of the monstrosity that was a Million Ways to Die in the West, but hey he goes back to the characters we're already familiar with in Ted 2. For a sequel, Ted 2 has a brilliant concept. A teddy bear fighting for his civil rights when he's perceived as property. Sadly it only leads to 3 different subplots, and nothing but gags. Thankfully for the people that loved the 1st film as much as I did this will be only amusing to those fans. So..not going to lie, I love this movie. Yes there is nothing but gags, but these are gags that a 17 year old would love. Fuck you guys I'm 17 and most of these jokes are hilarious. Yeah there's nothing but dick jokes, but this doesn't go the Seth Rogen route where it's constantly telling dick jokes ever 2 lines, but it's almost every 10 minutes where inbetween they make funny cheap shots, good story (when the film doesn't derail itself), and funny visual gags that satirizes things we see from time to time in other films. The movie maintains the same humor as the 1st, but the thing about this film we realize that may be a problem for others watching is that, Ted's a dick. He's an awful....being. I already knew Ted was an asshole and is selfish, but here he's that annoying friend who takes shit to the next level. The only redeeming thing is that, he gets his ass kicked almost every time for the right things. But when it gets to the last 30 minutes, the film not only gets intense, but really emotional like even more than the 1st film. Yeah it suffers from sequelitis, but what else can you do. The only huge problem is the camerawork. It's very sloppy where there's scenes of just swish pans, bad zooms, and shaky cam. The film feels significantly longer, but if you keep laughing you won't notice.

LAST STATEMENT: Though it has weak camerawork, Ted 2 still delivers hilarious gags, funny one liners, with a dash of charm as the 1st film maintained.
