Because we’re in 2016, everything that has to be remade has to be given EPIC BLOCKBUSTER SEQUENCES WITH OVERUSE OF CG. That is exactly what this film is, an epic summer blockbuster which is everything it shouldn’t be.
Now You See Me 2 Review
Though the film has some stylistic direction from Jon M. Chu who seems to have learned his lesson after Jem and the Holograms and some sweet cinematography from Peter Deming, the script is really boggled down to just a generic caper that really just steals from the fourth Mission Impossible film.

Though it has weak camerawork, Ted 2 still delivers hilarious gags, funny one liners, with a dash of charm as the 1st film maintained.
